Have Questions? We Have Answers!

Q: How did the BDS Group come into existence?

A: The BDS Group was created by a former franchise dealer to assist current dealers in increasing service profitability. We understand from firsthand experience the pitfalls and obstacles in the service department. We speak YOUR language and understand that high declined service percentages, one liner R.O.’s, and low effective labor rates will negatively impact your parts and service absorption.

Q: How much does the BDS Program cost?

A: The BDS Program is 100% free to the dealership. There are no hidden costs, and BDS will never ask for a portion or percentage of your profits.

Q: Are there any contractual or long-term agreements to sign?

A: No! There are no contractual agreements and no paperwork to sign.

Q: Are there any chargebacks?

A: No! The dealership retains 100% of all funds.

Q: Can I keep my primary lending source and use the BDS Program as a subprime backup?

A: Absolutely! BDS is not a replacement for your current primary partner. We encourage all our dealerships to keep their primary source. We recommend building your service department in the same way as your sales finance department. All dealerships have a primary and secondary program for the sale of vehicles. This ensures no loss of business and lowers the dealership's declined service percentage.

Q: What use do I have for the BDS Program if my current lender approves 100% of the applicants?

A: BDS will never speak negatively about any lender. That would not be good business. We will just stick to the facts. If a lender approves a customer for $700 with the condition of a $300 down payment, the approval amount is realistically $400. How does this approval amount help the dealership to close the R.O. if the average customer-pay ticket is $1800 or more?

Q: How does my dealership get paid?

A: BDS will pay the dealership over the phone by credit card when the repairs are completed, and the customer is at the dealership to take possession of the vehicle. This means the dealership can close the service ticket immediately without the need to set up short-term or long-term receivables. Because BDS is 100% free to the dealership, we kindly ask the dealership not to charge BDS any credit card fees when making payment. BDS is happy to share various strategies other dealers have employed to avoid the fee. If credit card fees are part of your payment policy, and there is no way to avoid the fee, BDS will provide a Guarantee of Payment document and mail a check to the dealership.
